Acupremier ACupuncture: OUr Story

Our goal is help others achieve lasting health.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) provides a holistic perspective on achieving and maintaining health. By acknowledging that all living things are part of nature and that we are constantly interacting and adjusting to our environment, we are able to support our health and well being using the principles and laws of nature applied to the body.

Acupuncture is one of the most commonly used modalities in Traditional Chinese Medicine in the West. At Acupremier Acupuncture, we focus on providing the best of acupuncture and TCM to our South Bay Community. Our belief is that every modality has its purpose, and every treatment plan should be tailored to the individual. We love to work with our patients to provide the best support available to them.

Science has shown that acupuncture is effective for relief for a variety of symptoms and conditions, including pain, neuropathy, headaches, insomnia, stress, anxiety, and fertility concerns. Our focus is to provide the best possible patient care, as well as provide general TCM education to help you implement key lifestyle changes to improve your health.

We are dedicated to serving the South Bay community, including the beautiful beach cities of Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, and Palos Verdes in Southern California.

Mission: To empower people to reach their optimal potential.

1. Compassionate care

2. Education

3. Accessibility

Core Values: Compassion, Positivity, Diligence

1. Compassion: We strive to approach your concerns with compassion and sensitivity. We are here to provide the support you may need, whether it is using our own treatments or working with a team of professionals to help you get relief.

2. Positivity: The mind is a powerful tool in healing. It can contribute to disease or inhibit physical healing. We use positivity and encouragement to help you implement the lifestyle changes to help you improve your condition. Rather than focusing on the negative aspects or statistical prognosis of your condition, we focus on how you can heal.

3. Diligence: We are committed to helping you feel better and improve your overall quality of life. We will carefully consider your current conditions, develop a treatment plan and work hard to get you to your goals.

Jillian Wang, LAc.

Jillian received her undergraduate degree training at University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. During this time, she worked at an outpatient physical therapy office, and volunteered at the #1 ranked rehabilitation hospital in the US, currently known as the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab where she assisted in treating spinal cord injury patients.

After moving to California in 2010, she developed health issues due to prolonged stress. After seeing several specialists and having limited progress with conventional medicine, she soon discovered acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine to help her in the healing process. Through her own experience, she has found her passion for helping others heal through acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

Jillian graduated with honors from Yo San University with a degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a specialty in Orthopedics. She is currently obtaining her doctorate at Yo San University. She is licensed by the California State Board of Acupuncture, and nationally certified in Oriental Medicine by NCCAOM. While in school, she completed her externships at Venice Family Clinic and Wise and Healthy Aging in Santa Monica. In her free time, she enjoys pilates, traveling and spending time with her loved ones.
