Who is my acupuncturist?

jillian-1.jpg

Jillian received her undergraduate degree training at University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology, while minoring in Psychology. During this time, she worked at Accelerated Rehabilitation Center outpatient orthopedics center and volunteered at the #1 ranked rehabilitation hospital in the US, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where she assisted in treating spinal cord injury patients.

After moving to California in 2010, she developed stress-related health concerns. After seeing several specialists and having limited progress with conventional medicine, she soon discovered acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine to help her through the healing process. Through her own experience, she has found her passion for healing others through acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

She graduated with honors from Yo San University with a degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and a specialty in Orthopedics. She licensed by the California State Board of Acupuncture, and also obtained her national certification in Oriental Medicine from NCCAOM. While in school, she completed her externships at Venice Family Clinic and Wise and Healthy Aging in Santa Monica where Acupuncture is integrated with modern medicine, and is used to treat pain and internal disease conditions. In her free time, she enjoys pilates, yoga and spending time with her loved ones.
